| Sales and Marketing Technical Support Engineer | Gatwick Area

| | As part of our continued growth we now seek to appoint a Technical Support Engineer to be based in our office near London. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the candidate will be UK based with extensive global travel required. You will almost certainly hold a second degree in Petroleum Engineering and have an OPCO background. Your role will be to provide the technical link between the software development and operations arm of the business. You will be at ease working with clients in a consulting, training and support role as this forms a large part of the specification. You will work the in the dissemination of new developments and the training of our field team throughout the world. You will need an in-depth knowledge of our software and be able to present its capabilities in the context of client problems. | | | |
| Marketing & Sales Engineer | Calgary

As part of our continued growth we now seek to appoint a Sales and Marketing engineer for our North America operations.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing in London and the Region Manager in Houston the candidate will be Calgary based with extensive travel required within the region and occasionally, further afield.
With an engineering degree or similar and a proven record in technical sales gained in the E&P industry the candidate will ideally also offer a degree in Petroleum Engineering, experience with KAPPA software and a second language.
The candidate will need to be highly disciplined, persistent and an excellent communicator, both face to face and using the written word. He/she will be able to develop strong client relationships and able to work without supervision. KAPPA has a very well established client base however new business development is an integral part of this role. You will need to learn our software in detail and be able to present it to clients with confidence.
