KAPPA conducts public courses in the United States, Argentina, France, UK, Nigeria, Bahrain, Russia, Australia and Indonesia. The courses available include foundation and advanced pressure transient analysis (PTA), foundation and advanced production log interpretation (PLI) production analysis (PA), the two-week dynamic data analysis, the new RUBIS software and ECRIN software courses. The assumption for foundation courses is that attendees are essentially ab initio. At the conclusion of a KAPPA foundation course attendees will have a good theoretical grounding in the methodology, they will have worked numerous real data sets and be able, most important of all, to go back and perform real work and have the foundations for building further skills in the discipline. Public courses are generic and it is not necessary to be a KAPPA software client to attend and benefit.
Advanced courses require a good level of practical experience in using the relevant KAPPA software. For advanced engineers unfamiliar with the software this can be provided for training non commercial use prior to the course to allow familiarisation. In addition to candidates having a good grounding in the relevant software, advanced courses demand attendees have a strong understanding of the methodology and interpretation process. Candidates can self test their suitability for such advanced courses on the relevant course pages. Advanced PTA - Advanced PLIThe price for public courses includes course material, a light lunch on each day and a course dinner on one evening. We are also happy to provide the software for non commercial training purposes for one month after the course to consolidate learning. Whilst we can assist with logistics, accommodation is not included in the price. Not all courses are available in all locations. All courses are conducted in English unless otherwise notified. |
