About the Course

Carbone is a new fluid modeling package designed to build fluid models that match experimental data on which several scenarios can then be run. A variety of export formats are possible such as Eclipse™, Prosper™ for both black-oil and compositional models.

Carbone is powered by the technical kernel from IFPEN as part of the ongoing technical partnership.

Carbone Modeling short courses

The sessions will cover the basic Carbone workflow for creating a compositional fluid model and matching it with imported laboratory data. Topics include regression (single and multi-fluid), lumping, compositional gradient and export.
