Automation Mode
The Automation Mode gives access to many important customization features including the creation / edition of functions, user tasks, plot templates, model, unit systems and composed user measures. The Automation mode can also be used to view / edit the Well properties & the Data types including the path for extraction when they map KAPPA-Workstation analysis results.
Functions
A catalogue of user defined functions. Users can create new functions that perform simple calculation procedures on channels with time series data.
User Tasks
A catalogue of user defined tasks. Users can define complex computation tasks using C#/python code that can perform various calculation procedures & access 3rd party API's.
Plot Templates
A catalogue of plot templates. Users can create templates that define how data is displayed on time series plots or cross plots.
Model
Global Data model catalogues for Well properties & Data types. Well properties define the list of attributes for a well. An attribute can be a single value or a timeseries. A Data type is a combination of a physical measure (time, pressure, temperature,...) and a text description indicating the exact equipment type or location or usage of the datatype. For example, THP, BHP are two different data types each assigned to a time series channel representing tubing head and bottomhole pressures. However, they both have the same measure – pressure.
Unit Systems
Users can create and edit unit systems, with the flexibility to incorporate their internal unit system. The system of units specific to the field opened. Once added, the unit system can be assigned at field creation and editing. Users can define specific composite measures for time series data.
