Creating Corrected Production
The corrected production is a task that offers several options to prepare a rate history for PTA analysis. It covers synchronization of the rates and the pressure during the Shut-ins, a possible correction of the last rate before shut-in, and simplification/reduction by merging rates within a defined threshold.
A gauge and production phases have been loaded under a well.
Shut-ins have been defined.
Click on the Production node.
Select the Corrected Production ,
, option from the Plot tab.
Edit the default setup as needed (see Corrected Production Options for details).
Click on Create.
Note
The corrected production name always follows the name of the raw data.
Important
In the case where several rate gauges and/or shut-in channels are available, it is possible to select which gauge/channel to use in defining a corrected production.
